Message will warp much more quickly than steel because of the expansion and contraction that aluminum experiences when heated.

If I were to get aluminum, I would get the RPS only because of it's segmented design. The segments are specifically to combat the natural problems with aluminum flywheels by giving areas that can expand and contract.

It is a bit like the grooves you see in concrete on the sidewalk. It gives area of expansion and contraction so it doesn't crack.
